Wellan Montessori School (formerly Newton Montessori School) serves students age 15 months through 8th grade. All programs run Monday-Friday from 8AM-3PM. There are half day options available for children 15 months to 6 years old.

Located in the heart of Newton Centre, just off Centre Street and Beacon Street, Wellan Montessori School was founded in 2006.

The 52 bus stops a few feet away from the school, and the MBTA Green Line D Train stop at Newton Centre is less than a quarter of a mile from the school.

Wellan Montessori School offers music, art, spanish, drama, design lab, technology, and more to students.

The school also offers extended day programs before and after school, vacation programs, summer camp, and athletics for students in grades 4-8.
