Amy has been incredible in helping us buy our dream home and selling our beloved condo. We truly could not have gone through this process without her expertise and support. From the start of working with Amy, she internalized our specific needs and desires. She helped us look at a range of houses that fit our criteria, and was always candid in her assessment of the pros and cons. She never tried to “sell” us on a house if the fit wasn’t quite there – it was clear that our satisfaction was her foremost consideration. When we got to deciding on offer prices, Amy was highly analytical and data driven. She pulled together a comprehensive set of comparable transactions, and closely evaluated why each might be similar or different. In some cases, she would provide a sanity check on pricing if she felt the value was not there. And when it became clear that the bidding would be highly competitive, she was transparent about what it would take to be the winning bidder. One of Amy’s key strengths is in the depth of the network she brings to her clients. When we were looking to buy, she got a contractor to engage on very short notice to help us understand the scope and cost of potential construction work. She also put us in touch with mortgage bankers who provided us highly competitive rates. Amy’s organizational skills were on full display when we prepared to sell our condominium. She put together a timeline that covered repainting our unit, updating fixtures, sophisticated staging and the logistics of a partial move. We managed to pull all of this off on a very tight timeline, which was only possible due to Amy’s expert organizational skills, relationships with the various vendors and her close personal involvement in all of the details. Throughout, it has just been a tremendous pleasure to work with Amy. She was always professional, but very engaged on a personal level. She was diplomatic when she needed to be and direct when required. She provided critical moral support and perspective when we felt uncertain or overwhelmed. It has felt like a true partnership and helped us accomplish something we at times did not feel was possible. We could not recommend Amy more highly.

We live in Los Angeles and were looking for a condo in the Brookline area to be near the grandkids. Not being familiar with the area my wife and I needed to find a Boston realtor who specialized in Brookline real estate. Luckily we found an expert in Amy Lipton! Amy was patient and listened to our requirements as they changed during the condo hunting process. In the end we were able to purchase a condo, under asking price, and within a 10 minute walk to the grandkids house. Thank you Amy you are the best!

Amy was amazing throughout the process! As a young and first time homebuyer I could trust that she always had my best interest at heart. With Amy I never felt any pressure and she worked at my pace until we found a place I loved and fit my needs. Even after closing she has been an amazing resource as I get settled into my new home. I have already recommended her several times and will continue to do so.

Sold a Condo home in 2022 in Brookline, MA.
We recently worked with Amy to sell our Brookline apartment. We are first-time sellers and we went into the process with very limited knowledge of what to expect. Amy was beyond helpful from the start; her experience with the local market and data driven approach, balanced with her kind and considerate nature made what could have been a very difficult process pretty much stress-free! More than anything else, we were really grateful for how pro-active she was: we both work full-time and have young child and on more than one occasion Amy jumped in to help when we were struggling to juggle the many balls involved in home-selling. I would not hesitate to recommend Amy to anybody and, while I hope we will be happy in our new home for a long time, she is the first person I will reach out to if we ever find ourselves looking to make another move.

Amy was amazing! She helped us both buy and sell, and made the whole process much easier and less stressful than it could have been. She knows the area and market really well, is really well-organized and was simply a pleasure to work with. Her network of folks you sometimes need when selling, e.g. designer, stager, electrician, etc. was great and we continue to work with those folks now in our new place. I would highly, highly recommend her to anyone else looking for an agent.

There are not enough words in this review for me to say how much I recommend working with Amy Lipton. We met Amy when we were interested in a property where she was the selling agent. We did not have an agent at the time, and she helped us through every step of the way, as first time home buyers and first time making an offer. As the seller’s agent, she went out of her way to help explain all the paperwork and even called us late in the evening to tell us the outcome of the bidding war. When we didn’t get that home, we knew Amy would take care of us in finding something even better. She did just that. She texted, called, created excel spreadsheets of properties and even saw properties without us when we were unable to come to Boston from our current home in NYC. Throughout the entire process, she treated us like her family. She listened to our feedback and got the deal done for us. We are forever grateful that we found Amy and that she helped us purchase our first home! After the deal was done she still was sending us contacts for contractors, etc. in the area. We will be working with her on all of our future moves. Thank you Amy!!
