The 556 bus runs from Waltham to Newton Corner with a stop at Carter Street, opposite the Commuter Rail Station (Fitchburg Line), which goes to Boston’s North Station or a commuter rail stop (Framingham/Worcester Line) at Walnut and Washington Street in Newton that goes to Back Bay Station and South Station.
