Fisher Hill is a prestigious residential neighborhood in Brookline known for its large, elegant single family homes and well-maintained streets. Fisher Hill is served by the highly regarded Runkle School, one of the eight public elementary schools in Brookline. There are also several prestigious private schools in the area (Brimmer and May, Beaver Country Day, Dexter Southfield, and The Chestnut Hill School to name a few), providing families with a range of educational options.

The neighborhood is also about a mile from The Country Club in Brookline where the U.S. Open Golf Championship has been held several times.

  • Brookline Reservoir Park: Not to be confused with Fisher Hill Reservoir Park, this popular spot for joggers and walkers runs along Route 9 and looks at Fisher Hill Estates. The park features a reservoir, surrounded by a jogging path (0.9 miles around), which is a favorite among local residents. In addition to its scenic views, the park also offers benches making it a perfect spot to watch the gesse and ducks wade in the water.

  • Fisher Hill Reservoir Park: Features a walking trail, play structures, and large grass field used for soccer, field hockey and lacrosse throughout the year. This park, along with others in the neighborhood, provides residents with ample opportunities for walking with friends and neighbors, outdoor recreation and relaxation, contributing to the high quality of life in Fisher Hill.

With its well-maintained grass field and welcoming atmosphere, Warren Playground is a popular destination for people looking to enjoy the outdoors with family, friends and neighbors. Locals and their pups flock to the park in the early mornings where dogs are allowed off leash until 1:00 PM daily.

  • Runkle Playground: This elementary school playground has two areas, one that runs along Clinton Road and features a small field, play structures, swings, and a basketball court; and the other along Chesham Road that offers additional play structures.

Public Transportation

The MBTA D-Line stops at two locations on the border of Fisher Hill. One is the Reservoir stop at Cleveland Circle, the other is the Beaconsfield Road stop which is accessible from Fisher Hill via Clark Road by utilizing the Beaconsfield Road path that leads directly onto the inbound T platform. The D-line takes passengers from Boston, through Brookline and ends in Newton.

Fisher Hill is flanked by Washington Square, Brookline Village, Chestnut Hill and Cleveland Circle, all of which offer a number of fine restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops and more. Fisher Hill residents are a mere 5-10 minutes by car from restaurants and shops.
