Beaver Country Day School is a co-ed school in Chestnut Hill situated on 17 acres of wooded land that educates children from 6th-12th grades. The school is divided into two, a middle and upper school. The middle school day is 8 AM - 2:25 PM every day except Monday when school starts at 9 AM, and students can be dropped off as early as 7 AM every day. Middle school students participate in afternoon activities until 3:45 every day. The upper school schedule is the same except students end school at 3:25 PM every day and take part in after school activities until 5:30 Monday-Friday.

Most students are involved in the afternoon program until approximately 5:30 PM.

Beaver Country Day School is located in a beautiful neighborhood surrounded by predominantly single family homes. Entrance to the school is from Hammond Street, a busy street with two lanes of traffic in each direction. Beaver’s swimming pool and ball field run along Hammond Street. There is also a big parking area, and at the rear of the parking lot, up a small hill is a large turf field. It’s actually multiple fields for soccer, softball, lacrosse and field hockey. Brookline youth sports teams often practice and have games on this field in the fall and spring.

The MBTA’s D-Line stop at Chestnut Hill is the closest train to Beaver, approximately 10 minutes from the school by foot. And the 60 bus runs from the Chestnut Hill Mall to Kenmore Square and stops at the corner of Boylston Street (route 9) and Hammond Street, a short 5 minute walk to the school.

In the summer Beaver Country Day School turns into Beaver Country Summer Camp, a day camp for kids.
